Welcome to Small Space Decor Ideas!
My name is Cheryl and I live in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I downsized from a large lake home in Minnesota to a small condo in the Minneapolis area and, once I decided to move south, I downsized, again! There’s a huge learning curve but it’s all good!
I love cooking and baking, photography, reading, watching sunsets, turtles, traveling, art galleries, feng shui, gardening, espresso, California wine country, environmental issues, antiques and collectibles, and most of all interior design.
As you can tell, my interests are varied…I’m sort of a Jill-of-all-trades! I’m a huge DIYer and can tear down and rebuild a bathroom (for example) with little help. I can lay sod and put together almost anything that comes in a box.
I’m a magazine junkie who can’t bear to part with any of my issues of House Beautiful, Dwell, Home and Garden, This Old House or HGTV Magazine just to name a few. Online favorites are Houzz, Apartment Therapy, and Pinterest. It’s amazing the quality of advice that’s available online!
I’ve been a Realtor and I’m an Accredited Staging Professional, staging homes to prepare them for resale. I’ve bought and sold antiques and collectibles on eBay and in an antique mall.
I believe in the “Recycle, Renew and Repurpose” concept whenever possible.
On Small Space Decor Ideas, I post all sorts of tips and ideas on how to maximize small spaces whether they’re rooms or small homes, lofts or apartments. I’ll pass along links to furnishings and home decor for every space to help you see the possibilities.
Some of the links (not all) are to affiliate websites and if you purchase anything at all from one of my links, I may earn a small commission. That helps me to keep this blog up and running.
Thank you for visiting…I welcome any and all feedback or suggestions for issues you’d like me to address in a future post.
In case you’ve missed it, visit my Welcome! page…there’s a little more about me there. I hope to see you back here, often.
P.S. In case you have always wanted to become a blogger…here’s an easy, free way to get started!
